Due to construction, we are not allowing people in the office for the short term. We look forward to showing you the improvements. Thank you!
Selecting a veterinary hospital is an important decision. We understand that pet parents often have questions about appointment availability, pricing, parking, online booking, and whether their pet’s condition can be treated at our hospital. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive from new clients.
We make every effort to see sick pets and urgent cases as quickly as possible. Same-day appointments may be available based on our schedule, your pet’s symptoms, and the doctor’s availability.
If your pet is vomiting, experiencing diarrhea, limping, coughing, itching excessively, not eating, having urinary issues, or simply “not acting like themselves,” please call us as early in the day as possible so we can guide you on the next steps.
For life-threatening emergencies—such as difficulty breathing, collapse, severe bleeding, seizures, suspected toxin exposure, or major trauma—we may advise you to go directly to a 24-hour emergency hospital for immediate care.
We understand that cost matters. Before treatment is performed, our team will review the recommended plan and provide an estimate whenever possible.
The cost depends on your pet’s condition, the type of exam needed, and whether diagnostics such as bloodwork, X-rays, skin or ear cytology, urinalysis, fecal testing, or other services are recommended.
Our goal is to be clear, transparent, and practical. We will explain what is most important today, what can be prioritized, and what options may be available based on your pet’s needs and your comfort level.
No. Our job is to educate and guide you, not pressure you.
We believe in giving pet parents clear medical recommendations, explaining the “why” behind those recommendations, and helping you make informed decisions. When appropriate, we can discuss different levels of care, including what is essential today, what is strongly recommended, and what may be monitored or planned for later.
You will always be part of the decision-making process.
Our team works hard to answer calls during business hours, but veterinary hospitals can become busy quickly, especially when we are caring for patients in the building.
If you reach voicemail, please leave a clear message with your name, your pet’s name, your phone number, and the reason for your call. You may also use our online appointment request option when available.
For the fastest response, please call earlier in the day for sick-pet concerns, medication questions, or same-day appointment requests.
We want your visit to be as smooth as possible. Our hospital has dedicated parking spaces for our clients. If those are in use, call us for other simple options.
If you have mobility concerns, a nervous pet, a cat in a carrier, or need help finding the entrance, please call when you arrive and we will do our best to assist you.
Yes, online appointment requests may be available for wellness visits, vaccines, routine care, and some non-emergency concerns.
For sick pets, urgent symptoms, new medical problems, or anything you are unsure about, calling the hospital is usually best. That allows our team to ask the right questions and help decide whether your pet should be seen today, scheduled soon, or referred for emergency care.
We know many pet parents have busy work schedules. Our appointment availability varies by location and day, so we recommend calling or submitting an online appointment request to find the best time for you.
If your preferred time is not available, our team can discuss the next available appointment, drop-off or DayStay options when appropriate, and whether your pet’s concern should be addressed more urgently.
We provide a wide range of veterinary services, including wellness care, sick visits, senior pet care, skin and allergy concerns, ear infections, dental care, lab testing, imaging, surgery, chronic disease management, and many other medical concerns.
If your pet needs advanced care beyond what we can safely provide in the hospital, we will explain why and help guide you toward the appropriate specialist or emergency facility. Referral is not a dismissal — it is part of making sure your pet receives the right level of care at the right time.
Have a question about your pet’s symptoms or appointment options? Call our team today, and we will help guide you to the right next step.
